Meeting Location
Guardrails Surf Spot (West Maui)
- Guardrails is a gravel/dirt parking lot, 400 feet south of ‘Puamana Beach Park’, off of HWY 30, at Mile Marker 19.

- Look for and meet at the black Toyota Tundra pickup truck with an orange flag/cloth and black Thule surf rack on the back.
- Guests will meet the staff near the one lone tree.
Parking
The beach park does not have a parking lot. Guests will park on the side of the road.
Beach Park Amenities
There are no public restrooms available at this location, and there is no running water. Water refill stations for drinking water are not available at this beach. We recommend that you bring water and snacks/lunch.
Great surfing experience…
Our family has surfed before…but the surf instructor “Pau” (the Spaniard Surfer) made all the difference! So impressed! Instructions were clear, simple and perfect….he read the waves and knew exactly where to be and when….he made sure everyone got up as many times as we wanted…and continued to instruct and encourage like a pro! Honestly it was one of highlights of Maui! A must do 😉
